Highfield House

   

Our Home is situated on the outskirts of Stroud Town centre, close to the local amenities of Shops, train station and regular bus routes. There is access to the smaller town of Stonehouse and the City of Gloucester via the use of these excellent transport facilities.
The house consists of 7 shower en-suite bedrooms, for Service Users to personalise as they wish including ground floor accommodation consisting of 2 bedrooms.
All rooms exceed the minimum requirements as laid down by national standards.

   

There are two communal lounges, one with television and the other to enjoy quieter activities or entertaining friends and relatives. A kitchen and dining area and a separate utility room are accessible at all times within the individuals’ plan of care. There is also a communal bathroom on the top floor. A terraced garden with some flower beds and low level patio area is available for all to enjoy.

   

The house has an open and friendly atmosphere with the option to ensure a safe and secure physical environment if and when required. The aim of Highfield is to provide quality, facilitative support and care within a community setting, primarily for adults with a learning disability/mental health and behaviors that may challenge other services. Offering placements to both male and female people aged 18 years upwards.

We accommodate people on the principle of a home for life or for as long as Highfield can meet your identified or changing needs. We also promote and encourage our service users to be as independent as possible to enable them to reach their full potential and to live as independently as they wish. We have the facilities when service users have reached their potential to move on to a supported living flat within the grounds of Highfield.
