Situated in a quiet area of Stonehouse yet within easy walking distance of the small local town which contains all required amenities i.e train station, post office, shops etc. The bigger town of Stroud and the city of Gloucester are also on regular transport routes.

   

 Built over 3 floors Westend consists of 8 ensuite bedrooms, all are fully furnished and the tenants are encouraged to decorate these to their own personal preference.  The ground floor consists of two large bright bedrooms, a large lounge, and a cosy seating area to enjoy peace and quiet time, a shared utility, large dining room and kitchen.

 

The second floor has 2 large and 2 smaller bedrooms, and also a bathroom with an upright front opening bath and overhead shower.

  

The third floor contains 2 attic bedrooms one with a bath ensuite.

Westend has a small walled front garden with views across the fields, and a large rear garden with a terraced seating and a large lawned area.

 

The house has a nice open and friendly feel, with the aim to provide shared supported accommodation, to people with a learning disability and or mental health issue, where they can enjoy the benefits of a friendly, supportive independence worker during their waking hours, socialise with others living in the home, whilst all the time improving thier skills, and furthering their independence whilst working towards the goal of an environment where they can live successfully within the community.

Additional staffing can be provided to meet the needs of each individual where and when necessary if required, to deal with issues such as personal care and community access.
