Stroud Care Services realises the importance of a person living in their own home despite the prospect of illness and disability or age. For many people, moving into a residential care home is not an option and the majority of individuals requiring care and attention would like to remain in their own homes.

We offer a domiciliary care service which caters for those clients who may have a Learning Disability and or mental health diagnosis, we.provide a team of suitably trained and experienced staff, whose main aim is to enable the individual to remain in their own home or maintain a tenancy, whilst managing each persons individual needs within a community setting so further enabling their independence.

Care can be provided every day of the week, all year round and can range from as little as 30 minutes to 24 hour support. From initial point of contact we work closely with our service users, families/friends and other professionals relating to the well being of those individuals, to find out more about them and to work out their exact requirements. This would be done by carrying out a comprehensive care needs assessment and devise in-depth risk assessments, and incorporating the views of any family members, and outside professionals .ensuring that we provide a holistic service and have a complete awareness of all our clients needs.

We know from experience that working closely with all of the above the care that we provide will be tailored and built appropriately in order to meet the needs of the individual, this is absolutely critical to ensure the success of this service. Our person centred approach ensures the best possible outcome for our service users in accordance with the Care Quality Commission with whom Stroud Care Services are regulated.
